Pharmacy & Prescription Policy

Insurance plans may require patients to use preferred pharmacies in order for prescriptions to process correctly through insurance benefits.

Patients are responsible for:

1. Providing accurate pharmacy information
2. Understanding pharmacy restrictions under their insurance plan
3. Updating the office if prescriptions need to be transferred to another pharmacy

Please note that some pharmacies may apply discount programs or coupons instead of processing claims through insurance if they are not preferred providers under the patient’s plan.
