Medication Management & Follow-Up Appointments

Medication management appointments and follow-up frequency are determined by the provider based on clinical judgment, diagnosis, medication type, treatment response, and patient safety considerations.

Some patients may require more frequent follow-up visits depending on:

  1. Medication dosage
  2. Controlled substance prescribing
  3. Clinical symptoms
  4. Medical history
  5. Treatment response
  6. Safety monitoring requirements

Providers may recommend monthly follow-up visits when clinically appropriate, especially for patients prescribed higher-dose stimulant medications or medications requiring closer monitoring.

Patients are welcome to discuss appointment frequency and treatment planning directly with their provider during scheduled visits.
